Goat Milk Soap

Marcia's Legacy started with her beloved herd of champion Nubian goats.  She started experimenting with creating soap using fresh goat milk back in the early 1990's, & piloted the technique of freezing the milk to avoid scalding during the saponification process.  She was also the first person to sell goat milk soap online!  Her recipes are still highly sought after in the soaping community, & we are beyond honored to have been chosen to carry on her legacy!

So, why goat milk soap?

Goat milk is naturally high in lactic acid, which helps your skin absorb & lock in moisture, slough off dead skin cells, reduce hyperpigmentation, smooth fine lines & wrinkles, unclog pores & reduce inflammation.  BENEFIT - It makes your skin oh-so beautiful!

All of our soap bars are ACTUALLY SOAP!  Most bars produced commercially are created with the same ingredients found in detergents, which are designed to strip away all oil in its path - including the necessary ones naturally produced by our bodies!  Our soap works WITH your body to gently cleanse what shouldn't be there, leaving behind the good stuff that allows your skin to stay protected, hydrated, & healthy.  BENEFIT - It helps your body regulate its natural oil production.

The best part?  Our goat milk is FARM FRESH!  Literally.  We have it delivered to our shop directly from the farmer each week & it is immediately either frozen for use in soap, or poured into the next batch of product we have cooking on the stove!
